Deep Tissue Massage

60 minutes: $80
90 minutes: $120

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.

Travel Fee

The travel fee is to compensate for having to travel to your home to provide the massage. It consists of $0.50/mile traveled. The amount of miles are measured by the distance I have to travel from my business address to your home, and back again.  For example, if you scheduled an hour of massage and are located seven miles from my business address, your total cost would amount to $82 for the entire session.  ($0.50 x 7 miles = $3.50. Multiply that by two to account for the return trip and you get $7.00). The travel fee is non-negotiable and is included in the total you are quoted during the scheduling of the appointment.

Body work for PTSD

60 minutes: $80

Hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the CranioSacral system. Using a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, helps release restrictions in the CranioSacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. Treatment is usually performed with patients fully clothed lying on a massage table. The practitioner uses light touch techniques to evaluate the movement of the CranioSacral system and works to release any blockages and restore balance in the system. The number of sessions needed depend on the condition of the patient and how they react to the treatment.
